<turbo:content>

Wedding Bouquet Trends 2026: 4 Bridal Bouquet Styles We Love

A bridal bouquet is no longer just an accessory. It has become part of the bride's personality, reflecting her style, mood, and even the atmosphere of the entire wedding. While timeless elegance never goes out of fashion, 2026 is all about individuality and flowers that tell a story.

Here are the trends we're loving this season.

1. The Dopamine Bouquet

One of the biggest floral trends of 2026 has made its way from everyday bouquets into weddings.

Inspired by the "dopamine dressing" movement in fashion, these bouquets celebrate bold color combinations and playful shapes. Bright yellows, vibrant oranges, fresh greens, rich pinks, and unexpected accents create arrangements that feel joyful, energetic, and full of life.

Instead of following strict color palettes, dopamine bouquets embrace contrast and personality — perfect for couples who want their wedding to feel relaxed, creative, and unforgettable.

2. Calla Lilies Are Back

Minimalist, sculptural, and surprisingly versatile, calla lilies have become one of the standout flowers of the season.

A bouquet of callas can feel modern and architectural, yet incredibly soft and romantic at the same time. They work beautifully on their own or paired with seasonal flowers for a more natural look.

We’ve already created several bridal bouquets featuring callas this year, and every one of them has had its own unique character.

3. A Bouquet Designed Just for You

Perhaps the strongest trend isn't about a specific flower at all.

More brides are choosing bouquets that tell a personal story. It could be a flower that reminds you of your childhood garden, one that carries a special meaning, or simply a shape that reflects your personality.

A bridal bouquet doesn't have to follow trends — it can become a signature piece that feels completely your own.

4. The New Classic Shape

Classic bridal bouquets continue to evolve.

Over the years we've seen perfectly round bouquets, then soft horizontal silhouettes inspired by organic forms. Today, the classic bouquet has become slightly taller and more elongated while still maintaining its elegant rounded appearance.

The result feels lighter, more natural, and beautifully complements modern wedding dresses without overpowering them.

One Last Thought

Wedding bouquet trends change every year, but the most beautiful bouquet is always the one that feels like you.

At CAO Flowers, we believe flowers should never simply follow fashion — they should express personality. That's why every bridal bouquet we create is designed individually, inspired by the couple, the season, and the story behind the wedding.
</turbo:content>

Lisianthus

If we had to choose one flower for July, it would be lisianthus. Locally grown by Serbian farmers, it’s incredibly lush, elegant, and long-lasting. It adds softness and volume to any bouquet while keeping a natural, garden-inspired look.

2. Dahlias

July marks the beginning of dahlia season, although their real peak comes in August. Their perfectly shaped blooms make them a wonderful replacement for peonies as the peony season comes to an end. We can’t wait for the weeks ahead when they’ll be available in even more colors and varieties.

3. Gladiolus

One of the most underrated flowers, in our opinion. Gladiolus is long-lasting, easy to care for, and brings beautiful structure to any arrangement. We especially love placing a few stems in a simple vase — they look modern, sculptural, and effortlessly stylish.

At CAO Flowers, we always encourage choosing seasonal blooms. They are at their most beautiful, freshest, and often come directly from local Serbian growers, making every bouquet feel even more special.
</turbo:content>

      <turbo:content>

Ceramic Kenzans for Flowers

Together with ceramic artist Yoka Eto Ya, we've created a small collection of handmade ceramic pieces for flower arranging.

If you've never used a kenzan, it's a surprisingly simple tool that completely changes the way you arrange flowers. A kenzan helps hold each stem in place, so even just a few blooms can turn into a beautiful, sculptural composition. Our ceramic flowers sit on top of a vase, while the bowls are designed to hold a classic metal kenzan inside.

Originally created in Japan, kenzans became an essential part of ikebana — the Japanese art of flower arranging, where every stem has its own place and every composition values space as much as the flowers themselves. We love this approach because it shows that you don't need dozens of flowers to create something beautiful.

Each ceramic piece is handmade and one of a kind. You can find the collection in our catalog: Ceramic bowl, Ceramic kenzan.
</turbo:content>

A few simple habits that will keep your flowers fresh for days

      <turbo:content>

How to Make Your Bouquet Last Longer

A few simple habits that will keep your flowers fresh for days

There’s something special about fresh flowers at home. They change the mood of a room, make an ordinary morning feel a little brighter, and remind us to slow down for a moment. The good news? You don't need to be a florist to help your bouquet stay beautiful. A few minutes of care is usually all it takes.

Start with a clean vase. It may seem obvious, but this is one of the most important steps. A freshly washed vase means fewer bacteria, cleaner water, and happier flowers.

Give the stems a fresh cut. Before placing the bouquet in water, trim about 1–2 cm from the bottom of each stem. Repeat every few days to help the flowers drink more easily.

Fresh water makes all the difference. Replace the water every day or two and quickly rinse the vase before filling it again. It only takes a minute, but your bouquet will definitely notice.

Keep leaves out of the water. If any leaves sit below the water line, simply remove them. They'll spoil the water much faster than the flowers themselves.

Find the perfect spot. Flowers love cool, bright rooms, but not direct sunlight. Try to keep them away from radiators, air conditioners, and bowls of ripe fruit. (Yes, fruit! It releases a natural gas called ethylene that makes flowers age faster.)

Not Every Flower Drinks the Same. Just like people, flowers have different preferences.

Mixed bouquets

A vase filled about two-thirds is perfect for most bouquets.

Hydrangeas

If your bouquet includes hydrangeas, don't be shy with the water – they're always thirsty. Fill the vase almost to the top.
A little florist's trick: if hydrangeas begin to droop, place the flower head in cool water for 20–30 minutes. They can drink through their petals as well as their stems.

Calla lilies & hollow-stem flowers

These elegant stems prefer just a little water — about 5–7 cm is enough.

Anthuriums & Curcuma

These tropical beauties need only a shallow layer of water, around 3–5 cm.
The reward? Anthuriums are famous for lasting several weeks with proper care.

Eremurus & Gladiolus

These tall stems love plenty of water—about 10–15 cm in the vase.
As the lower flowers fade, new buds continue opening above, so your bouquet keeps changing and blooming.

One Last Tip

Flowers are living things, and every bouquet has its own character. Some blooms open slowly, others surprise you with fragrance a few days later, and some simply enjoy a cool corner of your home.

Give them fresh water, a little attention, and they'll return the favor by making your home feel a little more beautiful every day.
</turbo:content>
